The Five Shelter Programs located in Waynesboro, PA
Together with the support and involvement of the community and the principals of the Christian faith, the Waynesboro New Hope Shelter exists to provide temporary housing for those men, women, and children, who for various reasons, have lost their place of residence. During their stay at New Hope Shelter, residents are offered new hope and support for re-entry in the community as self-reliant, independent, and contributing members.
The Waynesboro New Hope Shelter Inc, was established in 1998 to provide temporary housing for the homeless from Franklin, Fulton, and Adams counties in PA. New Hope Shelter is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that offers food and lodging to men, women, and children. It operates year-round and serves about 150 people a year of which one-third are children. Every resident is provided encouragement and the tools necessary to find employment and permanent housing.
