Description of Program
The Urban League of Greater Pittsburgh is a HUD-certified housing counseling agency with a wide variety of programs. The Housing Department is funded through federal, county and city housing grants designed to help stabilize the current housing situation of residents in Pittsburgh and Allegheny County. The department also runs programs aimed at preventing homelessness, keeping families together and hunger relief. Please read the program qualifications carefully to ensure the necessary documentation is readily available. Hmeownership workshops are held the 3rd Saturday of each month. Evening Financial Literacy Workshops and Document drop off occurs on the 2nd Tuesday of each month until 7:00pm.

• Direct intervention to help prevent foreclosure, such as representing clients in court
