Description of Program
The Squirrel Hill Community food Pantry serves anyone in need in the 15217 area and anyone outside of the area that has kosher need. The mission of the Squirrel Hill Community Food Pantry is to ensure that no one in the Squirrel Hill community goes hungry and that those in need have a place to turn. Additional support services help people to get back on their feet so that they can support themselves and their families. The pantry is administered by Jewish Family & Children's Service.
Proof of income and residence
Jewish Federation of Greater Pittsburgh, the Jewish Healthcare Foundation and United Way of Allegheny County; and also receive funding from the government, foundations and generous individual and corporate contributors.
People who meet Federal Financial Household Income limits.
