Description of Program
AmeriCorps is the national service program that provides thousands of Americans of all ages and backgrounds with education awards and other benefits in exchange for a year or two of community service. AmeriCorps members help meet public safety, education, human needs, and the environmental needs.
Established in 1994, CORE Susquehanna is a local AmeriCorps program serving in 7 counties throughout Central Pennsylvania.
AmeriCorps members provide community service at local education and human services organizations located in Snyder, Union, Northumberland, Montour, Mifflin, and Juniata Counties.
Snyder County, Union County, Northumberland County, Montour County, Mifflin County, Juniata County
Members must be 17 years of age or older.
Members must have a high school diploma, GED, or the willingness to obtain a GED.
Hours of Operation
Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, 8:30am to 4:00pm Tuesday, 9:30am to 4:00pm
