General Information
Description of ProgramProvides Medical Assistance recipients with public transportation to non-emergency Medical Assistance-reimbursable services and facilities. Included are doctor's appointments, medical trips, drug and alcohol counseling, and mental health counseling as long as the services are billed through Medical Assistance. Transportation is provided by the Port Authority or by a cab. It generally takes one week to receive service after application.
