Description of Program
Southcentral District Office serves as the local public health agency for the provision of essentail public health services for all residents who do not live in an area covered by one of the county and municipal health departments.
District and State Health Center staff provide the following services:
1. Communicable disease control prevention
2. Chronic Disease and injury prevention
3. Family Health
4. School Health
5. Environmental Health
6. Health promotion/ Health education
7. Public health preparedness
Southcentral District Office serves 13 counties: Adams, Bedford, Blair, Cumberland, Dauphin, Franklin, Fulton, Huntingdon, Juniata, Lebanon, Mifflin, Perry, and York.
