Description of Service
Addresses the needs of substance abusing adolescents and adults. The outpatient office is accessible by public transportation and serves Snyder, Union, Columbia, Montour counties and surrounding areas. Evaluations are conducted by a counselor to determine the appropriate level of care that will best meet the client’s needs. A strong emphasis is placed on responsibility, stability, improved life skills, and the development of a comprehensive support system through AA and/or NA.
The adolescent program is designed to assist youth as they struggle with various social and familial pressures. The environment provides an excellent opportunity for intense and a safe discussion regarding chemical dependency, relationships, sexually transmitted diseases, peer pressure and maintaining good physical health.

A drug and alcohol evaluation is completed utilizing assessment protocol approved by public and private funding sources.
