General Information
Description of ServiceIndividuals and families enrolled in the Center's Food Program receive monthly bags of food, supplementing what they can purchase using food stamps. Bread is available daily at the Center and fresh fruits and vegetables are distributed when available. During the holiday season, Food Program registrants receive turkeys and hams for holiday dinners, and parents are eligible to participate in the Toy Day Distribution, allowing them to choose several new and gently used toys to give to their children. Provides supplemental food to over 500 families a year - most of these on a monthly basis. Also have soup kitchen on site to feed those hungry two days per week, Monday and Wednesday from 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm.

Intake ProcedureThe third Thursday of every month is Food Day, the day that anyone registered with the Food Program at PoPC can arrive to receive their food bags. Distribution times are between 9:30 AM and 12:30 PM, and between 4:00 PM and 5:00pm.
Intake RequirementsDemonstrated need, and cannot participate/be on the list at another food pantry. Registration for monthly food bags is required, but emergency bags given to those in need who are not registered at aby food distribution site do not require registration.
Helpful TipsBread is available each weekday to all who stop at the Center, and Soup Kitchen Community meals are offered each Monday and Wednesday from 3:30 p.m. through 5:00 p.m.
