Description of ServiceThe United States Department of Veterans Affairs Center for Women Veterans was formed to provide a single avenue for women Veterans to get the help they need.

The Center's functions include monitoring and coordinating the VA’s administration of health care and benefits services and programs for women Veterans, serve as an advocate for a cultural transformation (both within VA and in the general public) in recognizing the service and contributions of women Veterans and women in the military, and to raise awareness of the responsibility to treat women Veterans with dignity and respect.

In addition, VSO's (Veteran Service Organizations) can assist you as well by answering general questions and even petitioning on your behalf for services they believe you are qualified to receive.
