Description of Service
The Pennsylvania Council of Chapters of the Military Officers Association of America works with Congress and the Pennsylvania legislature on issues affecting the career force, the retired community and veterans of the uniformed services.
As a veterans organization our chapters advocate issues but do not support any political party or the election or defeat of any political candidate.
Our mission is to foster fraternal relations among retired, active, reserve, and former officers of the uniformed services; to protect the rights and interests of personnel of the uniformed services and their dependents and survivors; to provide useful services for members and their dependents and survivors, and to serve our communities, our Commonwealth and the nation.
Membership is open to anyone who holds or has ever held a commission or been a warrant officer in any component of the Army, Marine Corps, Navy, Air Force, Coast Guard, U.S. Public Health Service or National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration. Surviving spouses, including those whose deceased spouses would have been eligible for membership but were not MOAA members, are also eligible for membership.
