Description of ServiceProvides access to a variety of energy assistance programs so families can maintain their utility services, including Customer Assistance Program (CAP). CAP helps low-income, payment troubled customers of Duquesne Light establish manageable payment plans that enable them to maintain electric service and move them toward self-sufficiency.

Intake RequirementsThe following are needed:
  • Proof of income for all household members for the last 30 days,
  • Social Security cards of all household members,
  • A current bill or the address that the applicant is moving to if in need of help with a deposit.
