Volunteers from the community are trained to help the riders while they are on horseback, and some go on to be-come certified instructors. Volunteers provide training and care for the horses and help the riders learn to care for their horses before and after they ride.
The Franklin County Therapeutic Riding Program is always in need of more volunteers. Volunteers need no experience. Please call 263-0443 or 263-9226 to volunteer.
