Description of Service
A career preparation and training program for out of school youth or adjudicated young adults in Allegheny County. The program includes GED preparation classes, community services, on the job training, internships, personal development and mentoring. Accepts donations of clothing for men going on job interviews.
Call or walk in, referral.
Photo ID, SS Card, income verification. If adjudicated, need record of criminal justice involvement.
Must be 18 to 21 at the start of the program, involved in the juvenile system from the age of 14 or above, never been convicted as an adult under Federal or State Law, Must have a minimum TABE score of 8th grad in both reading and math.
