Description of Service
Shelter for displaced and homeless families. Helps families get back onto their feet by offering services like counseling, temporary housing, help finding a permanent home , searching for a job, social security, medical assistance and meals from local hosts. Family Day Center provides a safe, comfortable, place for homeless families who are staying in the shelter to spend their days, and a stable address from which they can work to establish financial independence.
Phone interview; then a face to face interview.
Birth certificate of every member in family, ID and Social Security cards for all adults.
Criminal background checks & drug tests will be done for each adult family member.
Homeless families, single parents with children or legal guardians/custodial relative with children. Must not have current drug, alcohol, or severe mental health problems.
Hours of Operation
Shelter is provided 24 hours/day, 7 days a week. Day Center 9:00 AM -5:00 PM, weekdays.
