Description of Service
Transitional housing and supportive services to homeless women and women with children who have fled domestic violence. Services include life skills education and goal planning geared toward self-sufficiency and obtaining permanent housing by one year. Transitional Program takes homeless women (singles or w/ children) &/or homeless women (singles or w/ children) experiencing domestic violence.
Northeastern Allegheny County and Northwestern Westmoreland County.
Submit an application to be placed on a waiting list if there are no open apartments at the time your application is received. When an apartment becomes available, you will be contacted by telephone for an interview.
Participants must be willing to work within the structure of a program with supportive services. Participants must be willing & able to pay 30% of their income towards a monthly adjusted program fee.
Proof of income, birth certificates, SS Card, or other identification.
Homeless women with or without children, including women who are homeless as a result of domestic violence.
