Description of Service
Veterans Place of Washington Boulevard provides housing and supportive services to homeless military Veterans through a partnership with the Veterans Administration. Offers homeless Veterans an array of facilities and services that build residential stability and self-determination and increase a Veteran's earning potential and success in long-term competitive employment.
Services to help veterans to transition from homeless to home include:
Transportation for program participants,
Mental health support,
Financial and Education support.
Call or walk-in
The only requirement for Veterans to receive services are for them to desire a change in their lives and a willingness to work a program designed by our program staff. For Veterans living in our Transitional Housing Program, it is required that they remain free of any drug and/or alcohol use and participate in periodic activities as requested by program staff.
Veterans who are homeless (or experiencing a housing crisis) and have served in a branch of the United States Military at some point in their lives. There is no time in service requirement; only that the Veteran did not receive a dishonorable discharge.
