    Downtown Daily BreadDowntown Daily Bread (DDB) serves the poor and homeless of Harrisburg by providing lunch every day of the year from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. Boyd Memorial Building of the Pine Street Presbyterian Church, located at 234 South Street, Harrisburg . DDB also offers phone, mail service, and lockers, as well as clothing for men and women. Showers are also available.     Prince of Peace Center - Food ServicesIndividuals and families enrolled in the Center's Food Program receive monthly bags of food, supplementing what they can purchase using food stamps. Bread is available daily at the Center and fresh fruits and vegetables are distributed when available. During the holiday season, Food Program registrants receive turkeys and hams for holiday dinners, and parents are eligible to participate in the Toy Day Distribution, allowing them to choose several new and gently used toys to give to their children. A Photo ID must be provided at time of service; no other information is required. Food Pantry is open Tuesday through Friday from 10:00 AM until 2:00 PM. 2. Water Service Payment Assistance. Need to have a shut-off notice. We pay up to $100 while funds are available. 3. Emergency Lodging (Homeless Motel Vouchers). Short term housing for transient and/or special situations for individuals and families with a 1-3 night stay at a local motel. An assessment interview of need is required. This is limited to available funding. 4. Furniture and Household Goods Vouchers. Available to fire victims with referral from the American Red Cross, or transitioning from a shelter (with referral). 5. Clothing Vouchers.
