    Chambersburg Cold Weather Drop-In ShelterOpen from December to April only, the shelter provides a warm space and meals provided by the churches of the greater Chambersburg area during the cold winter months. Some limited counseling and assistance is provided to aid guests in acquiring permanent shelter and temporary or permanent job placement. Incoming guests sign-in and agree to printed shelter rules. Guests are permitted to stay for 14-nights, but are permitted to stay longer if they perform public services within the community. Bible studies are made available to guests several times during the week in groups or on an individual basis if requested.
