    Allegheny County Housing Authority - Family Self-Sufficiency ProgramHelps very low-income, single parent families in Allegheny County to secure and maintain decent, affordable housing and higher levels of self-sufficiency. A counselor helps program participants to develop and implement action plans which contain specific goals and objectives for self-sufficiency and the steps which participants need to take to achieve these goals.     Challenges, Options in Aging - Lawrence CountyCatholic Charities county offices provide seniors and their families with information about community resources and connect them to parish-based volunteers who can assist them with emergency basic needs. For Lawrence County seniors, a full spectrum of services is available through our Challenges: Options in Aging program. Challenges: Options In Aging is Lawrence County's Area Agency on Aging. Challenges: Options in Aging program is operated by Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Pittsburgh and the Pennsylvania Department of Aging, serving residents of Lawrence County since 1974.     Fair Housing Partnership of Greater Pittsburgh, Inc.Assists in the investigation and filing of housing discrimination complaints, and provides legal representation for victims of housing discrimination. Fair housing hotline provides information and referrals for people with housing problems, including landlord/tenant disputes. Provides homebuyer education workshops, pre-purchase and post-purchase counseling, and housing search assistance including help with accessing to public housing. Works to eliminate housing discrimination and to promote fair housing in the Greater Pittsburgh area and throughout Pennsylvania, through education, monitoring and research, legislative reform, testing and enforcement, and community outreach.     Referral, Comprehensive Case Management, Translation and Interpretation Services (Spanish)Formed as a nonprofit organization in 2000, The Chambersburg Hispanic American Center (CHAC) bridges the language and cultural divide that sometimes hinders new Latino residents from accessing services for which they are eligible.
