|Clothing Center, Newburg UMC||Organized in 1989 to provide affordable clothing for people in need, we are a community operated clothing store offering clothing by the bag. The Center seeks to provide the community and surrounding areas with clean, affordable clothing for all family members.
You can find just about anything you need! Clothing for men and women, children and infants, shoes, coats, jackets, boots, and undergarments, uniforms, unusual outfits as well as occasional formal gowns and dresses.
• A brown grocery bag, which is provided, can be filled with clothing for $2.00
• A winter coat can be bought for $2.00
• A jacket for $1.00
• A pair of shoes for a quarter
We donate clothes to various missions and to individuals and families, who are in need after an emergency such as a fire. We are always accepting new donations and volunteers. If you are donating, simply leave the clothing by the back door of the clothing center. If you are volunteering, just walk in the front door and be greeted by the rest of our friendly volunteer staff.

|Downtown Daily Bread, Client Services and Assistance||Downtown Daily Bread (DDB) serves the poor and homeless of Harrisburg by providing lunch every day of the year from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. Boyd Memorial Building of the Pine Street Presbyterian Church, located at 234 South Street, Harrisburg.
DDB also offers phone, mail service, and lockers, as well as clothing for men and women. Showers are also available.
