It provides assistance with minor home repairs. The consumer must pay for supplies. Ombudsman Service The ombudsman investigates and resolves complaints made by or on behalf of residents in nursing homes, personal care boarding homes and Domiciliary care homes. Complaints may include any issue that affects the health, safety, welfare and rights of a resident. Staff and volunteers also perform visits to area facilities.
