Northampton County Children, Youth and FamiliesResponsible for planning and providing state mandated social services to dependent and abused children and youth in Northampton County. Works to prevent abuse and neglect and provides protection services for abused children which includes a range of temporary out-of-home care options, family visitation and re-unification, when possible, and permanent placement when a child cannot return to their home. Specific services include counseling, case management, parenting education classes, protective services, and foster home care. The CYF Division also provides adoption services and court-ordered custody evaluations and supervised visitation.
