The purpose of the program is to develop leadership skills and good citizenship practices in youngsters who are interested in service to others.

    Boys & Girls Club of EastonBoys & Girls Clubs of Easton serves children/youth, 5-18, with no residency restrictions. Youth Membership registration is required. Offered (Mid-Sept to Mid-June)$15 per year per child. Summer Kindergarten Readiness: Summer Camp for youth getting ready to enter Cheston and Paxinosa Elementary School. Summer Brain Gain: Summer Camp offered for 11 weeks, in June, July and August Summer Camp offered in June, July and August Youth Members $35 per year Youth Non-members $70 per year Health Habits: After-school and summer nutrition and fitness education, healthy snacks and meals, available for all ages. SMART Moves (Skills Mastery and Resistance Training) is a prevention/education program about the problems of tobacco, drug and alcohol use and premature sexual activity. Gang Prevention program for youth, 6-18 years. Identifies and recruits delinquent and "at risk" youth into ongoing Club programs and activities and mentorship. Keystone and Torch Clubs are chartered, small group character and leadership clubs. Torch Club is for pre-teens, 11-13 years and Keystone Club is for teens, 14-18 years. City-Wide Youth Basketball League. Open to children/youth, 5-18 years. Registration required, fees are $10/season per member($20 for non-members). Triple Play: Sports Fitness & recreation in a variety of sports & activities for all ages. Volunteer Opportunities Available: For groups (corporate/agency etc) and individuals: must have background clearances in place.     Franklin County Master GardenerThrough their local outreach, Penn State Master Gardeners educate both youth and adults in communities throughout Pennsylvania. The Penn State University Master Gardener program was established to assist Cooperative Extension in reaching the consumer horticulture audience. Master Gardeners are volunteers trained by the Penn State Extension. Once they complete their training, Master Gardeners help Extension better serve the home gardening public by answering questions, speaking to groups, working with 4-H gardening projects, maintaining demonstration gardens, teaching plant sciences and horticulture, writing gardening articles, and many other ways. Master Gardeners are willing and able to educate individuals and groups on topics such as vegetable and flower gardening, plant selection, composting and soil health, controlling pests safely, pollinator gardening, pruning, and more.     Kiwanis InternationalA global organization of volunteers. Focus on changing the world by serving children, one child and one community at a time. Also sponsor youth clubs to develop leadership and increase civic engagement in young people. There are K-Kids Clubs for primary school children; Builders Clubs for adolescents; Key Clubs for teens and CKI clubs for university students.
