Butler County Federated Library SystemThe purpose of the Butler County Federated Library System is to operate a system of autonomous public libraries within Butler County to promote, develop and improve library (and informational) services for all County residents. The Library System coordinates library services offered by the individual member libraries and operates a bookmobile and two branches to serve those areas of the county that do not have member libraries. The Butler County Federated Library System also provides the hardware, software, and technical support for the countywide library automation system. This project makes possible the online catalog database and the use of one library card throughout the county.
