    STAR Center Services for Teens at RiskA comprehensive program to prevent teen suicide. Provides identification, referral, outpatient assessment and treatment, and parent education. Educates school personnel and mental health professionals. Offers grief group treatment for bereaved children and adolescents, and adult survivors of suicide. Their monthly Normal Teenage Behavior and Depression workshop discusses strategies for coping with teenage depression as well as causes and treatments and how it affects the family.     Survivors of Suicide - AlleghenySOS is a support group for bereaved family members and close friends of suicide victims. The group provides a safe place for survivors to deal with painful questions & feelings that follow suicide. Members support one another while trying to understand the complex issues raised by this tragic death. Children & Teen support groups are also offered which depends on availability of number of children and teens at random. Groups are led by social workers and nurses. Must attend 1- 8 week session offered 3x's a year to be eligible for group support, one time monthly thereafter, first Wednesday of each month.AlleghenySurvivors of Suicide - AlleghenyWestern Psychiatric Institute and Clinic
